The rubber type strap is tightened so that no dog can fit through the leg opening. I have a 1 kg Chihuahua, very tight hind legs, can't walk. The front part stretches well.

A good jumpsuit, I took it as pajamas but now we go outside in it, the size is as described for a 4 kg Maltese, I adjusted to size L.
